There are many Dota 2 heroes that are good mid laners. Some of them are always strong, whereas others are just good in certain patches. One of those heroes is Storm Spirit, one of the hardest heroes in Dota 2. To master this hero, pros spending a lot of hours and even days practicing, just to show their best on the events like AniMajor, which starts on June 2, 2021.
Storm is often considered as one of the best snowballing heroes in Dota 2 thanks to his incredible skillset. If he gets a head start, playing against him can be a nightmare, which is why it's important to pick a hero that can lane well against him.
Having said that, here are some heroes that you definitely need to avoid playing with.
One of the heroes that has a very hard time against Storm is Ember. This spirit is capable of doing a lot of physical damage, however, he is very weak against magical damage, despite having a shield that absorbs a lot of it. As a result, Storm can easily bully him out of the lane and constantly harras him.
When you play against Storm as Ember, you need to be careful not to overextend because the situation can get out of control.
Even though Kunkka is one of the strongest Dota 2 mid laners, Storm is one of the few heroes that is capable of winning the lane against this annoying hero. With Kunkka, you should always try to harras him using Tidebringer. Also, try to avoid the Static Remnant because it does a lot of damage.
Sniper can be one of the best heroes in some games. However, that's not the case against Storm Spirit because the hero can easily jump on top of Sniper and bring him down. This means that you MUST build some sort of a defensive item if you want to stand a chance later on. Thinks like a Shadow Blade or a Hurricane pike can come a long way here.
