Dota 2: The Top Three Transfers in Professional Dota ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Introduction

Dota 2 is one of the most interesting games in the world, there is no arguing that. However, apart from being a casual game that's enjoyed by millions of people from all over the world, this game is also the most profitable eSports, with tournaments going up to $31,000,000, which is just insane.

Currently, there are many good teams in Dota 2 which makes the outcome of every tournament unpredictable. Having said that, let's take a look at three of the most influential transfers that happened in the last couple of years. Some of them were very shocking, whereas others - not so much.

Miracle- from OG to Team Liquid (Now Nigma)

The first one that we will take a look at was Miracle-'s  transfer to from European powerhouse to another. During his time ot OG,  the young mid laner has proven himself as one of the best players in the world. As a result, he and his team won multiple Majors in a row and were even considered to be one of the best teams at that time. However, after a disappointing TI finishing, Miracle- decided that it's time to make a switch and joined Team Liquid, alongside Kuroky and other legendary players.

As a result, he became TI 7 champion and won pretty much everything along the way.

Arteezy from Team Secret to Evil Geniuses

The second notable transfer that we need to talk about is Artour's switch to EG. It's important to note that this happened multiple times. In fact, there was a period where Arteezy went back and forth several times. During his prime at Secret, they were the best team in the world. In fact, they were so dominant that they won literally everything, except for TI. Whether it was due to the pressure or something else, the European team was just unable to unleash their full potential.

Following that, Arteezy decided that he will make the move towards EG once more and since then, he's been a vital part of that time. Even though there are many critics who don't like him, the Canadian carry player is still one of the best in his position.

JerAx from Team Liquid to OG

Last, but definitely not least, we have JerAx, one of the best support players in the world. This player quickly made a name for himself as one of the best Earth Spirits in the world and played a vital role in Team Liquid's success throughout the years. However, there was a time where the team was seriously underperforming, which resulted in a transfer. JerAx decided to joint he "reformed" OG, which turned out to be the best decision of his life because he and his team-mates ended up winning two TIs in a row and becoming the most successful team in Dota 2's history.
