Dota 2: The most picked supports

Introduction

Dota 2 is one of the biggest MOBA games in the world that brings together millions of people from all over the world. Apart from having stunning graphics, Dota 2 features many amazing heroes to choose from, each of whom has something unique to offer.

After we took a look at the most picked mid laners, carries, and offlaners, it is now time to focus on the last positon in Dota 2 - support. Even though many people think that this is the easiest position out of all, that's not the case. In fact, playing support can be extremely challenging, especially during the early stages of the game. Having said that, let's dive in and see which heroes are loved the most.

Lion

No surprise, Lion is the most picked suppot heroes of all time. This doesn't really come as a surprise because this hero is extremely good and fun to play with. Even though there are some people who prefer to go mid with him, he definitely shines the most when he is a support.

Not only does he have 2 disables, but he is also capalbe of doing significant amounts of damage with his ult, especiually when he buys an Aghanim's Scepter.

Crystal Maiden

 Up next, we have one of the most signature support heroes in Dota 2- Crystal Maiden. Although she is one of the squishiest heroes in the game, she is capalbe of doing insane amounts of damage, especially when she gets a couple of items. Also, CM can work wonders with some heroes such as Juggernaut for example, so definitely put her on your bucketl list.

Rubick

Last, but most definitely not least, we have Rubick, one of the most unique Dota 2 heroes. Unlike other supports, this hero has a significantly higher skill cap due to his ultimate that allows him to steal spells from other heroes. While it's true that this hero used to be a mid laner before, he definitely shines the most when he is playing as a position four.

Similar to CM, this hero can work wonders with many heroes during the laning stage. What's more, he makes other heroes such as Enigma for example, very hard to play because he can always be there and steal that Black Hole.
