Let's take a look at which carries are the most popular in Dota 2.

With over 120 heroes to choose from, it's easy to see why so many people love Dota 2. Even though not all heroes are equal in terms of popularity, each of them is awesome in its own way.

However, there are definitely a couple of heroes that stand out when it comes down to populartiy. Today, we will take a look at some of the most popular carry heroes of all time.

Even though this list can be entire subjective, we will use DotaBuff as a source to see which heroes get the most love from the community.

Phantom Assassin

The first on this list is none other than PA, one of the deadliest carries in the gamne. We can't say that we're surprised by this pick because PA is an incredibly popular hero ever since the days of DotA. What's more, after Valve decided to release an Arcana, she became even more popuar.

Phantom Assassin is capalbe of dealing insane amounts of damage. This, combined with the fact that she's one of the easiest heroes to play with, makes her an ideal choice for most new players in Dota 2.

The second spot on this list is for the Samurai of Dota 2 - Juggernaut. Similar to PA, Jugg is a hero that's capable of doing a lot of physical damage. However, he also has a healing spell, as well as an ability that allows him to do magical damage, which makes him a bit more hard to play.

Nonetheless, he is an amazing hero to play with, which is why it's no surprise that he is on the list.

Last, but definitely not least, we have Slark. Even though he is not as popular as the first two, Slark is the carry that's risen in popularity, especially in the last couple of years. Although he was always a good pick, he became the go-to carry in most of the metas, which greately increased his populartiy.

To be honest, he is also the strongest carry out of this list, especially when you buy the proper items. No wonder Slark is considered to be the nightmare of every PUB game.
