Introduction
Apart from being a fantastic laner, Storm Spirit is also one of the strongest late-game heroes in Dota 2. He is capable of doing insane amounts of damage, especially when he snowballs in the mid game. In fact, it's safe to say that Storm, alongside Ursa, is the best snowballing hero in the game. That's why its really important to pick the right heroes against him so that there is someone to deal with him if the game reaches the so-called "late-game".
Nevertheless, dealing with the bouncy fella is easier said than done, and there aren't that many heroes that can do this. So, without further ado, let's take a look at some of the best late-game heroes against Storm Spirit.
Anti-Mage
Of course, the first pick here is no surprise. Anti-Mage counters pretty much all spellcasters out there and Storm Spirit is no exception. A six-slotted Anti-Mage can easily rip through Storm like a knife through butter, especially when he has an Abyssal Blade. Literally every wrong step that Storm Takes will most likely result in him dying whenever there is an AM on the enemy team.
Wraith King
WK is another hero that's capable of making Storm's life really hard. However, unlike Anti-Mage, WK does it for different reasons. You see, Storm is really strong in the late game but he has to use a lot of his mana pool in order to kill the enemies. This is where WK shines because he has Reincarnation. So, by the time Storm is done, WK will be back once more and ready to fight, which means that Storm won't have any mana left.
Phantom Assassin
The last hero on this list is similar to Anti-Mage, however, it does a little bit more damage. PA can pretty much one-shot most heroes if she is six-slotted and Storm is no exception here. However, PA can be easily kited, so the player who's playing the hero has to know exactly what he's doing.
