Dota 2 - The Best Late Game Heroes Versus Outworld Devourer?

Introduction

Even though he is often underestimated, Outworld Devourer has the firepower of bringing down pretty much any Dota 2 hero. He is one of those picks that you don't really expect until it's too late. That's why it's extremely important to know exactly which heroes to get if you wish to have a chance during the late game. Spoiler alert, Anti-Mage might not be the best option here because OD deals pure damage and he can easily one-shot even him. Of course, he`can work in some cases, but it all depends on what other heroes are there in the game.

Apart from AM, here are some of the other heroes that are really good against him.

Storm Spirit

Although OD counters Storm Spirit in the laning stage, once Rajin gets a few items, he can always jump on top of him and deal a lot of damage before he pops his BKB. However, the Storm player in this scenario has to be really good because there are many things that can go wrong.  That's why you need to be very careful when you're playing against this hero.

Lifestealer

LS has one huge advantage over OD, and that's the fact that he has a natural BKB. When you combine this with the item itself, Lifestealer has 15 seconds to kill OD, which is more than enough, especially when he has a few damaged items. Again, he has to be really careful because once that spell immunity is down, OD can just annihilate him.

Terrorblade

The main advantage of Terrorblade over OD is his range. As long as he manages to survive the big ultimate, TB can easily overpower his enemy because he deals too much damage. What's more, he always has Sunder to count on whenever things go wrong.
