Dota 2 - The best items for Windranger

Introduction

Windranger is a hero that can fit in pretty much any Dota 2 position. Initially, the hero was mainly used as an offlaner, due to her incredible skill set. However, as time went on, most Dota 2 players decided to play the hero in the Mid lane. Despite not being that strong in every matchup, Windranger was one of the best mid laners at one point because the hero can lane pretty much against anything. 

Apart from that, Winranger is also legit support that we can often see. That said, the hero does not scale that well in the game as a support, which is why it can be a risky move. Having said that, let's take a look at some of the best items that you can buy for this hero.

Blink Dagger

If you want to be able to land a reliable Shackle's Shot, having a Blink Dagger is a must. Luckily, this is a pretty cheap item, so you can get it fairly early on. However, it does not provide any stats, which is why it's probably not the best idea to get it as a first item.

Aghanim's Scepter

This is the best item for Windrager, regardless of she is in the offlane or in the mid lane. Similar to the Blink Dagger, Aghs is relatively cheap and it provides the hero with decent stats and damage. However, it's usually not that strong in the early game, however, once WR gets a couple of extra items, this item will start doing wonders.

Monkey King Bar

Monkey King Bar is a good item because it provides loads of damage. When it's paired up with Focus Fire, this item is more than enough to bring most enemy heroes down. However, it's worth mentioning that MBK can be a little bit more expensive for the early game.

Linkin's Sphere

This is an item that many WR players will get just so they can obtain a little more survivability. Apart from the active effect, this item also provides a lot of stats, as well as HP and mana regen, which makes it really useful. In fact, you can often see Windrager getting this item early on. Having said that, you don't really get that much damage with it, so if you have to do some DPS, this might not the best option.
