Introduction

Viper is a hero that's known for dealing loads of damage during the laning stage. However, once that's over, Viper is also capable of tanking a lot, which is why people love to pick him. 

Even though he can be pretty strong, Viper's performance is based entirely on the items that he gets. Sometimes, he might not be able to do much because he won't have the right tools for the job. Another item that's really strong is Monkey King Bar. However, this can only work if it's used on the physical damage hero. There is no point to buy this item on a Viper who will focus only on doing magical damage.

This fairly cheap item is capable of providing loads of protection, as well as some damage, which makes it a pretty good choice.  However, this item doesn't scale that well in the late game due to its reduced duration.
