Dota 2 - The best items for Puck

Introduction

There are various Dota 2 heroes that have the power to control the tempo of the game, especially once the laning stage is over. One of those heroes is Puck. Once the go-to mid laner for most pro teams, Puck has slowly shifted towards an offlaner. However, he still remains a really important hero for many pro teams because he is capable of doing a lot of damage and a fairly decent amount of disabling whenever it's needed. Nonetheless, he is one of the most fragile Dota 2 heroes, which means that there should be at least one or two defensive items.

Having said that, let's take a look at some of the best items for this hero.

Eul's Scepter of Divinity

Unless Puck goes mid (sometimes, that doesn't matter either), the hero goes for this item. Eul's makes the already hard to kill hero nearly possible because he has yet another item that he can use until his Phase Shift is on cooldown. What's more, this item also provides a decent amount of movement speed, which is always welcomed.

Dagon

Although it doesn't provide any kind of defensive stats, Dagon is an excellent item whenever you need to do a lot of damage in a very short period of time. However, getting Dagon 5 is not that easy because it will take a lot of gold, so keep that in mind.

Veil of Discord

This is a mother small item that does wonders in certain situations because it increases the magical damage that Puck does to the enemies. As if that's not enough, it also provides a decent amount of HP regen, which is always good.

Blink Dagger

Blink is a must-have for every Puck because it makes the hero even more mobile than he already is. What's more, he can always use his Phase Shift and then use Blink to escape from danger. 

Scythe of Vyse

As long as Puck has a decent game and manages to snowball quickly, he should get a Scythe of Vyse because this item has the power to change the course of a team fight. Sadly, it's pretty expensive, which is why most heroes go for it only when the late game arrives. If you have the chance, definitely go for it.
