Diffusal Blade

Diffusal Blade is the ultimate first item for this hero. It's cheap, super effective, and can be used to snowball really easily. Given a proper game, Broodmother is capable of farming this item in under 10 minutes, which can have deadly consequences to the enemy laner.

Desolator

Although it's a little bit more expensive, Desolator is also an item that's extremely popular among Broodmother players. As a result, you can often see people rushing Desolator and use it to push towers even faster. However, it's not really advisable to get this as your first item because it's just not that cheap.
