Introduction
Dota 2 is one of the best games in the world that has many amazing heroes and items to choose from. In addition to that, many unique mechanics make this game stand out from the other MOBAs.
One of those mechanics is related to the HP and mana regeneration. To be honest, there isn't really all that much to it because it is a pretty straightforward process. However, there is a way in which you can benefit more from every single HP/Mana regen in the game.
Let's take a look and see how it works.
Regenerating done right
There are many different ways in which you can regenerate your HP and mana. Apart from Healing Salves and Clarity Potions, you can also get a Regeneration rune, use the Shrine, a spell, buy a Bottle, and so on. Regardless of the position that you play in, there you will always need to get some sort of regeneration.
Having said that, if you are playing mid or an offlane, chances are that you will have to buy a Bottle. This is one of the most effective regeneration tools in Dota 2 because you can easily refill it when you grab a rune. In addition, each Bottle has three charges and regenerates both Mana and Hp, which is incredible.
Of course, depending on the hero that you are laning against, these three charges might not be enough to save yourself from death. That's why it is essential to know what you can do to make the most out of this regen.
You might have seen people who drop all items that provide stats before they use a charge from their Bottle. This is done just for the reason we mentioned above - to take a maximum usage of this bottle. Although it might seem like a waste of time, once you temporarily drop or put these items in your backpack, you will be able to regenerate more HP and mana. That's because you will start to restore them based on your flat stats, rather than any bonuses. Once you're ready, you can simply put back your items in your inventory, and the total amount of HP and mana that you have will be more.
We definitely advise you try this out because it is a pretty neat trick.
