Dota 2: How to Deal with Ursa ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Introduction

Dota 2 is a game where you can choose between 120+ heroes, each of whom is unique. Naturally, some of them are stronger than others, which is why people often use them as counter picks. Then again, there are a handful of heroes that are just too strong and can’t really be countered by a single hero. This means that whenever you’re facing them, you have to play in a specific way so that you can survive.

With that said, today, we will take a look at how to play against one of the deadliest heroes in Dota 2 - Ursa. Although this bear might seem weak at first, she has the potential to carry her team to victory very easily, given a good start.

Let’s take a look and see what you need to know against Ursa.

None

Don’t let the hero snowball

This is undoubtedly the most important thing when it comes down to playing against Ursa. Usually, this hero is either in the safelane or mid lane, which means that your offlaner or midlaner has to have a good idea of what to expect. Ursa is a very explosive hero that can go off at any minute. That’s why it’s very important to play somewhat defensively and know your boundaries.

If you allow this hero to kill you more than once, chances are that she will just snowball out of control and win the game in the next 20 minutes.

Buy proper items

The second very important thing that you need to keep in mind is related to the items. In order to be successful against Ursa, you have to have at least one defensive item. There are many choices here, depending on the hero and the position you’re playing at. However, if there is one that we have to highlight, it has to be Force Staff.

It’s not that expensive and it provides a good escape mechanism against Ursa, at least until she gets an Abyssal Blade.

Don’t go alone

Last, but definitely not least, one of the most important rules to survive against Ursa is not to go alone. Of course, staying as a team doesn’t mean that you will be able but at least it gives you a bigger chance. After all, Ursa is notorious for having the ability to pick you off easily.
