Dota 2 - How to Bounce Back with Storm Spirit? ⚡⚡⚡ Esports news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Dota 2 can be a very easy game when you're on the lead. If you manage to get a good start, you can easily use the snowball effect and completely run over your enemies. However, that's not the case if you have to play from behind because then, it can be pretty hard.

One of the worst lanes to play from behind is mid because this is the hero that has to make plays around the map. Of course, each mid hero deals with this issue separately. For example, some of them can easily reclaim their advantage, whereas others - not so much.

Having said that, today, we will take a look at a couple of things that you can do to bounce back in the game with one of the most popular mid laners - Storm Spirit. Although he is a very strong laner, it is possible that he ends up dying a few times, so it's worth checking out what to do in such situations.

Farm the Jungle

After the most recent map changes in Dota 2, farming the neutral camps that are close to the lane has never been easier. If things are not going well, you can easily stack the camp and then just farm it using your Remnants. Storm Spirit is actually one of the best jingling mid-laners in Dota 2 because he deals a lot of AoE damage. So, it's definitely advisable to use this to your advantage.

Always have a Teleport Scroll and watch the map

Usually, we don't recommend you gank a lot with Storm Spirit in the beginning. Contrary to popular belief, this hero excels mostly during the mid-game when he gets at least a couple of items.

However, if you got stomped in the lane and the jungle is not an option, the best thing that you can do is participate in a team gank and hopefully - get the kill.  In order to do that, you have to always carry a TP scroll and watch the lanes. Whenever you see an opportunity, simply jump and seize it.

Farm as much as possible

No one likes to fail the lane, especially mid.  In most cases, not only are you going to allow the enemy hero to thrive, but you will also get flamed by your team-mates. However, this doesn't mean that you should give up. Storm Spirit is one of those heroes that can get back in the game with just a few kills, so always try to farm as much as possible in order to get that Bloodstone ready.

Take advantage of every opportunity on the lane and in the jungle. Heck, you can even go and grab the bounty runes if you have to.
