Digital Chaos has let go of coach Jared "pandaego" Fletcher and replaced him with Dat Quoc "Biryu" Ha, the organization announced Monday.
Digital Chaos formed in August of this year, and has yet to finish first at a Major event. They recently came in second at Elimination Mode, and were knocked out of the Frankfurt Major North American qualifiers by Unknown.xiu.
This is what team captain Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling said in a press release:
"I had a lot of fun playing with Biryu and have also learned a lot along the way. He's a great guy and has a ton of potential. Unfortunately, we felt that a change was necessary in order to move the team forward. Biryu will no longer be playing on our starting roster, but will be moved to a coach and sub slot where I hope to continue to learn from and with him."
In the press release, Shannon "SUNSfan" Scotten stated that the team is now looking for a new fifth player ahead of The Summit 4.
The Summit 4 runs from Dec. 9-13, giving DC just over two weeks to find a new player.
