The second Major of the 2018-2019 Dota 2 Pro Circuit has just been announced by StarLadder. In cooperation with ImbaTV, the competition will be held in central China in Chongqing from the 19th through the 27th of January 2019, where a whopping 1 million USD will be up for grabs. Sixteen of the world’s finest teams will also battle it out for 15,000 DPC points, used to determine the participants of 2019 The International.

Fifteen of the competing teams will be decided through regional and open qualifiers, whilst the sixteenth spot will go directly to the champions of the Bucharest Minor taking place in early January. All the qualifiers are expected to take place in late November, featuring, as per usual, six separate regions. A detailed qualifier schedule will be released soon.
