Dota 2 - Anti-Mage's Biggest Lane Counters

Introduction

Anti-Mage is one of the best carries in Dota 2, especially when he gets a proper start. Once the hero farms his Battlefury, he becomes an unstoppable farming monster that's can get one team every five minutes. Once he has enough of them, he can easily jump and kill the vast majority of the enemy team. However, before this happens, Anti-Mage has to have a good laning stage, which is easier said than done, especially against some of the heroes that we will point out on this list. 

Without further ado, here are some of the best heroes to pick in a lane against Anti-Mage.

Axe

Axe is just a nightmare to lane against whenever you're playing a melee hero. He can always run at you and deal damage with his passive skill, which is annoying, to say the least. To make matters worse, the hero doesn't really care that much about whether or not he will have mana, so AM's harassments won't do much here.

Undying

People who pick this hero do it for one reason - to make the life of the enemy carry a living hell. That's not really hard, especially when you pair Undying with another annoying hero. He deals loads of damage in the early game and thanks to Decay, brining this hero down is easier said than done. As a result, he can easily bully Anti-Mage away from the lane and farm freely.

Legion Commander

Last, but certainly not least, we have Legion Commander, one of the most annoying laners in Dota 2 who is capable of doing absurd amounts of damage. What makes him so good against AM is his passive skill, which allows him to attack AM a lot. As a result, the hero will constantly have low HP, which means that he can die.
