Codemasters, the studio and publisher of multiple award-winning racing games, has signed an agreement with Motorsport Network. The upcoming game Dirt Rally 2.0 will become an esports discipline fueled by the motorsport & automotive behemoth.

Motorsport Network is an international leader in the racing industry. It owns multiple brands, digital and published media organizations and commercial companies, focused on delivering motor racing content to consumers all over the world.

The Motorsport Network website states that the company generates over 260 million views monthly across 81 countries and 17 languages.

Neither Codemasters nor Motorsport Network has shared details regarding the future competitive racing leagues. According to the official Dirt Rally 2.0 website, the game will have a daily, weekly and monthly competitive challenges, so an esports league might just be built around it.

Dirt Rally 2.0 will launch on February 26 on Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
