ESL has revealed the direct invites for the upcoming 2020 ESL One Birmingham Online tournament. However, one more invite remains to announce for the Europe & CIS region.

Thirty teams will compete across four regions in the online Dota 2 tournament following the cancelation of ESL One Birmingham 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. As to be expected, the Europe & CIS region has the highest number of direct invite spots at 14 with two more slots for the winners of the closed qualifier. China follows with six direct invites and two closed qualifier teams, then North America and Southeast Asia with five direct invites and one closed qualifier team each.

Here’s what the ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online lineup currently looks like:

Europe & CIS

Aggressive Mode qualified for the event yesterday after defeating Team Unique in the closed qualifier. Team Unique will now face Winstrike Team in their second try at qualification.

ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online will provide Dota 2 fans with weeks of action. The North America and Southeast Asia regions offer a prize pool of $40,000 each, while China has $55,000 on the line, with Europe & CIS featuring the largest sum at $200,000.
