Digital Chaos has been invited to ESL One Genting 2017, the tournament organizer announced on Oct. 20.

DC's most recent LAN competition was The International 2016, where they finished in second place after falling to Wings Gaming 3-1 in the Grand Finals. Despite the loss, the relatively young team took home approximately $3.4 million.

DC are the second team invited to ESL Genting after Fnatic, who were invited Oct. 6. Two more invites have yet to be revealed, and another four teams will come from regional qualifiers in America, China, Europe and Southeast Asia.

ESL One Genting 2017 features a $250,000 prize pool and will take place on Jan. 6-8 at the Arena of Stars in the Genting Highlands, Malaysia.
