Devil May Cry official Twitter account has announced the imminent porting of the original game to Nintendo Switch. Initially, it was released in 2001 for PlayStation 2, but now the updated version of the 2012 Devil May Cry HD Collection is set to become a separate game.
The release is scheduled for the summer, a specific date will be announced later. With this project, Capcom is likely to test the loyalty of the audience of this platform, and if everything goes well, porting the other parts of the series are almost guaranteed along with good sales. Capcom has already tried to create a portable version for DMC in 2005 and 2006 on PlayStation Portable, but the development was cancelled in haste.
We remind you that the developers of Devil May Cry 5 have announced that they have completed content-creating for this game and do not plan to release paid add-ons.
