Devil May Cry 5: Achievements and Trophies Guide

It's not a trivial task to get all the trophies in Devil May Cry 5. This was evident even before the announcement of the full list of achievements since the previous games of the series were also famous for their incredible replayability and high complexity. We will try to simplify your way to platinum with a guide below. We hope it will help you as much as possible. Also, some more details on the most difficult and easily overlooked tasks.  

Platinum

• Devil May Cry
  Unlock all trophies 

Gold

• Highway to Hell
  Complete the game on Hell mode

It's not necessary to complete all the missions with S-rank, but you can do it both to easily reach another achievement.

• Well I’ll Be Damned
  Wield overwhelming power to exact an unexpected conclusion

You need to kill the boss in the prologue, but better do it on your second run, on "Heaven or Hell" difficulty level. Once you defeat this enemy, you'; have a secret ending.

• Worthy of Legend
  Clear all missions with S rank on all difficulties except Heaven or Hell

Don't use costumes with endless Devil Trigger, restart from checkpoints and die again. The auto-combo function lowers the percentage of points obtained as well, so you turn it off. The best way is to avoid any damage, don't try to show your incredibly stylish level of combat skills. You'll get a reasonably high result with just staying untouched and zero deaths.

Silver

• Dance with the Devil
  Complete the game on Dante Must Die mode

Try farm some red orbs if you have troubles. 

• Stairway to Heaven
  Complete the game on Heaven or Hell mode

Use only pistols, including boss-fights. This difficulty works in a 'one shot-one kill' way. 

• Secrets Exposed
  Clear all secret missions

Just use this video guide:

• Hell of a Hunter
  Clear all missions with S rank

You can get both while completing 'Heaven or Hell' trophy. 

• Jackpot!
  Collect more than 1,000,000 Red Orbs total

Seen this? Do it again: 

Bronze

• Let's Rock!
  Complete the game on Human mode

All the 'mode' trophies require to be obtained separately, that is, the minimum number of 'completions' to obtain platinum is six. 

• Showtime!
  Complete the game on Devil Hunter mode
• Doing Daddy Proud
  Complete the game on Son of Sparda mode
• Fall from Grace
  Complete the prologue
• Protect the People
  Clear Mission 1

It is important not to miss an enemy, including mobs near the sphere fragment:

• Where the Red Orbs Grow
  Collected Red Orbs from an unexpected spot in Mission 02

You need to get to the secret location: 

• Reunion
  Clear Mission 3
• Backroad
  Destroy a certain wall in Mission 4

The building is quite difficult to miss, but just in case we will show you how to complete this one. Summon Nightmare to destroy it:

• Break a Leg
  Fend off a menace from above in Mission 5

Attack the... tentacle appearing from above. 

• End of the Line
  Clear Mission 6
• Share the Pain
  Clear Mission 7 with both Nero and V
• Light in the Darkness
  Clear Mission 8
• Eagle-Eyed
  Destroy a certain wall in Mission 9.

This wall:

• This Ain't Over
  Clear Mission 10 
• Don't Mess with the Best
  Use proper timing to get a leg up in a close-quarters battle against the boss in Mission 11

You need to attack with Sparda's sword, having previously chosen the swordsman style hit the timings:

• The Qliphoth
  Clear Mission 12
• Each In His Own Way
  Clear Mission 13 with Nero, V, and Dante

You need to complete the level three times — select it (or whatever you like) in the main menu. 

• Gotta Hurry
  Clear Mission 14
• Slick Moves
  Proceed with caution and avoid unneeded damage in Mission 15

Well, it is easy to complete while completing all missions on S-rank, but can also be obtained separately. The main thing is to make it without trap damage.  

• Obedience Training
  Go on the offensive without relying on brute force in the Mission 16 boss battle.

Do not use Devil Trigger either. 

• Back to Life
  Clear Mission 17
• Man on a Mission
  Clear Mission 18
• Battle for the Ages
  Clear Missions 19 and 20 without using continues (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell)

This one is easy when completing the game on low levels of difficulty. 

• Not Too Shabby
  Perform a Stylish Rank S combo
• Steppin' up the Style
  Perform a Stylish Rank SS combo
• Seriously Stylish Slaying!
  Perform a Stylish Rank SSS combo
• The Quick and the Dead
  Defeat 5 enemies in 1 second

Just upgrade Dante's hat and use it in a mob of enemies. 

• I Believe I Can Fly
  Rack up a total of 60 minutes in the air by jumping or other means
• Nothing's Impossible
  Acquire all of Nero's skills
• Be the Legend
  Acquire all of Dante's skills. 

The last skill will open only after completing the game on the Son of Sparda difficulty level.

• Demon Breeder
  Acquire all of V's skills

This character has a skill for 3 million red orbs — farm as hell like in the video above (the author sincerely wanted to add the video for the third time, but his editor didn't allow to do so).

• Physical Perfection
  Upgrade your vitality gauge to max
• The Devil's Own
  Upgrade your Devil Trigger Gauge to max

• A New Job
  Accept a new job from Morrison after the Red Grave incident

Kill some demons while the credits are passing by.

• Demon Destroyer
  Defeat 1,000 enemies total

Just complete the game — there are more than enough. 

• Rearm and Repeat
  Collect more than 100 Devil Breakers during missions
• Dante The Gambler
  Use more than 500,000 Red Orbs total with Dr Faust

Use this weapon more often, or make an additional save-file, if you are worried about the orbs. 

• Who Needs Weapons Anyway?
  Clear Mission 11 without equipping a weapon set for Dante (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell)

It can be achieved only after completing the game on The Son of Sparda difficulty level.

• Unarmed and Dangerous
  Beat Mission 7 without any starting Devil Breakers equipped (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell)
• Pet Protection
  Clear Mission 5 without V's demons getting stalemated (any difficulty except Heaven or Hell).
