The creator of the game Celeste and the head of the company Matt Make Games Matt Thorson upset the fans of the game. He announced that the release of DLC was postponed indefinitely on his Twitter account. The DLC will not be released by January 25, as promised earlier. Also, there will be no strawberries.

The DLC itself consists of a single story chapter, without complicated versions of the levels (B-Side) that were in the main campaign. The complexity of the addition will start with the most challenging levels of the game.

However, the news that new items and the mechanics will be added pleased the players. And most importantly, the DLC will be free on all platforms.

Xbox Live subscribers on Xbox One should be especially happy, because they can activate the game for free in the service until January 31.

Recall that the release of Celeste took place on January 25, 2018. Celeste is a hardcore platformer whose gameplay calls Super Meat Boy into memory. It tells the story of a depressed girl Madeline: in the fight against psychological illness, she decided to climb a dangerous mountain - Celeste. The game was released on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
