Details of Star Wars: Battlefront Season Pass revealed

Star Wars: Battlefront had already made lofty promises in the past about what players can expect if they get in on the Season Pass for the game. EA has come forth today with more details of what's on the way for post-launch content and there seems to be a ton of additional toys on the way.

The announcement, made on the official Star Wars: Battlefront website doesn't offer any idea of exactly what the content will entail, but they do offer quite some numbers. Here's what's on the agenda for a Season Pass:

- 4 DLC packs in all.

- 20 pieces of tech including weapons, vehicles and Star Cards.

- 4 more heroes and villains

- 4 new game modes

- 16 new maps.

Pretty impressive. On top of that, the Season Pass gets you access to content 2 weeks earlier than anyone else. A lot of DLC season passes can be the dumps. EA and DICE seem legitimately prepared to deliver a hefty supply of content on theirs. We're still holding out for Lando and Chewy.

The Season Pass will be $49.99 on all available platforms. Star Wars: Battlefront is coming on November, 17th.
