Destiny 2 Shadowkeep - Deathbringer guide ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

As you probably know by now, Destiny 2 got a recent update that definitely had a huge impact on the game as many of the players that quit playing decided to give it another try.  Having said that, one of the coolest new weapons you can get right now is the Deathbringer rocker launcher. It is a  very powerful Exotic weapon that just got available but in order to get it, you need to do finish a very tricky quest that is easy to ignore unless you pay enough attention.

As you can imagine, being one of the hottest weapons right now, this is definitely a must-have for every Destiny 2 player out there. Having said that, this weapon has a lot of stuff in common with another legendary weapon - the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher. It allows you to detonate rockets while they are flying, which means that it can do bonus AoE damage.

Let's take a look at what you need to do in order to get it.

 Completing one of Eri's gifts

Once you're done with the campaign, you will be able to get bounties from Edrin. Make sure to complete one of them called "Lunar Spelunkler", which will give you a special quest item. Once you get it, go back to  Eris and then take the portal next to her and follow the path. As soon as she starts talking, interact with her and open the chest to pick the Symphony of Death.

From there, to the Circle of Bones and complete the mission there. As a reward, you will get the Silent Skull which you need to take back to Eris.

Collecting the Bones

Once you are done talking to Eris again, there will be a new challenge ahead of you - the Marrow's Elegy quest, which is not that hard to do but it will require a bit more time. Other than that, it is pretty straightforward - you just need to collect three different bones.

The first one is located in Sorrow's Harbor, more specifically in K1 Revelation. In order to get there, you need to go to the Lost Sector. Once there, try finding the Ritualistic Bone. It will "appear" once you open the end chest. On the contrary, the second bone is called Festering and in order to get it, you need to do one public event in the area around Hellmouth, which is pretty easy to do.

The last bone here is called the Bone Collector's Marrow and it is also pretty easy to find, as long as you know where to look. So far, the easiest place where you can find it is near the Anchor of Light. However, it is possible to find it in other places as well, as long as you are looking around.

Dealing with the High Conductor Sulmakta

After you are ready with this annoying bone-collecting thingy, it's time for some action. The first big quest ahead of you is killing a very strong foe - High Conduct Sulmakta. Similar to any other big encounter in Destiny 2, it all comes down to the people you play with. If you are playing with people you know and they have your back, this will be like a walk in the park. However, if you are doing this with just random people from the chat, chances are that you are going to fail big time.

In order to get to the High Conduct, you need to start The Scarlet Keep strike on the Moon. From there, just play along until you reach a big elevator that goes to the top. Stop on the second floor and you will find yourself in front of Sulmaka. Needless to say, ask if everyone is prepared and if so, start the attack.

Kill the rest

After you are done with the pesky Sulmaka, you need to do one of the most strange and also exciting quests in the game right now - collecting the screams of your enemies. This might be very confusing for some, so we will say it an easier way - you need to kill the red bar and yellow bar enemies, as well as the bosses.

As you can guess, the yellow bar enemies are the easiest ones which mean that you will have little to no trouble dealing with them. Unfortunately, we can't really say the same about the red bar and boss enemies.  They are a lot stronger which means that you need to spend more time killing them.

There are no specific strategies when it comes down to completing the quest. The best thing to do is to just do as much Public Events and Los Sectors as possible. It might take some time to do it but the end result is definitely worth it. After all, you are just a couple of steps away from getting your hands on this cool weapon.

Get back to the Circle of Bones

Once you complete all the things mentioned above, it is time to move your way to the Circle of Bones. As soon as you get there, you might be surprised but there will be yet another quest that you need to do. It will force you to go back to the Catacombs in order to fight a very annoying enemy. The tricky part is that you only have sixty seconds to kill him, which seems good at first sight.  Little do you know though, it has a lot of shields so you really need to hurry up if you want to even have a chance at finishing this mission.

When you finally bring him down, you will have one more fight to go, this time against a strong wizard. Upon killing him, grab the loot and go back to Eris in order to claim your new Deathbringer. Congratulations!
