Kojima Productions has announced that Death Stranding will be coming to PC in summer of 2020. Early in development, a lot of speculation circulated regarding the existence of a PC version and now it’s official.
The PC version will be published by 505 Games who have worked on games like Sniper Elite III, Payday 2, Assetto Corsa, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and Terraria. Speaking in a press release, 505 Games co-founder and CEO, Raffi Galante said:
“We are extremely excited and honoured to be working with the supremely talented team at Kojima Productions and to bring Death Stranding to PC gamers around the world. Death Stranding will take gamers through a completely original experience that will delight PC gamers everywhere.”
Although the game will be out on PC months after its PS4 release, it will allow fans to get deeper insight into the game before they decide to buy it. Just make sure to steer clear of spoilers during the time between releases as Kojima games are always heavy on story and form their foundation.
Death Stranding releases for PS4 on November 8, 2019. An official soundtrack for the game titled Death Stranding: Timefall will be released on November 7, featuring artists such as Bring Me the Horizon, Chvrches, The Neighbourhood and Major Lazer.
