Introduction

Death Stranding is a fantastic game that features many interesting things to do. As you probably know by now, one of the main aspects of the game is connected to cargo deliveries. In fact, every single them when you do successfully deliver something, you will get a specific rating for your delivery. This rating is called likes and you can receive it from various sources such as the recipient, other cool players and more. Of course, this evaluation depends on many things such as how much take it took you to complete the order, is the cargo intact or not, and more. The likes you receive will be added to your porter grade.

Let's take a look at are those categories exactly and how to improve them.

The Categories

There are five categories in total that will be shown as a star when someone is trying to evaluate your order. As we mentioned above, your overall score depends entirely on the number of likes that you will get for each aspect. The more likes you get, the better the score will be. Here are all five categories, and what each one means.

• Cargo condition - as the name suggests, your rating here depends on how well you've managed to preserve the cargo. Your score will increase when you deliver undamaged cargo. However, sometimes, this can be easier said than done. Luckily, there are special container repair sprays that can make the damaged container look good as new.
• Miscellaneous - This is the hardest category to explain because it features a lot of different things. For instance, you can increase this score if you find new routes, fight BTs, clearing MULEs, and other types of things. Just remember to think out of the box, and you will get this rating up in no time.
• Deliver Volume - this category depends heavily on how much cargo you deliver to the other players. Of course, not ever order is the same, so you should keep that in mind. If you want to get this rating up fast, you need to make big deliveries, which is not the most natural thing in the world.
• Bridge Link - as the name suggests, this category is mainly focused on you and your relationship with the other players in Death Stranding. You will be able to get this rating up whenever you get likes from other players.
• Delivery time - this is the last category, and it is connected to those orders that need to be delivered for a specific time. Needless to say, they are pretty difficult most of the time, so it will be hard for you to get this category up to and to move.

Buffing your Porter Grade

We believe that it goes without saying, but the easiest way to increase your portal grade is if you get more likes for everything you do. This means that you need to make your deliveries on time and with the maximum cargo you can. In addition to that, you can even try to do the so-called "premium" orders. However, it's a lot hard to do this because, in most cases, the cargo needs to take little to no damage to succeed. To make matters worse, the time that you have to complete such a task is always minimal.

The entire goal to reach a higher porter grade is to get different bonuses. For instance, if you get a high bridge link, you will have the chance to make more strand contracts. Every single category has some kind of bonus, which is pretty cool, so we definitely encourage you to get them up as soon as possible. Lastly, you can also brag with your portal score to your friends, which is pretty cool.
