Dead or Alive 6 version 1.19 brings balance changes and new costumes

Team Ninja has released Dead or Alive 6 patch 1.19, which brings with it several balance changes, the ability to use hairstyles between different costumes, and the Alluring Mandarin Dress costume set from DOA5. 

The update is live on all platforms and brings some of the most significant changes the game has seen since launch. Missing information, mistakes, and issues in the command list are now corrected, alongside animation fixes and other character-specific bugs. Players will also be able to use hairstyles from the Sexy Bunny and Witch Party costumes with other costumes so long as you already own these sets. 

Regarding balance changes, Christie sees the most with NiCO and Honoka close behind. However, its the entire roster that receives changes this patch, like general high-counter adjustments, low spin landings, and lying hit reactions.  

Adding to the game’s extensive collection of costumes is the Alluring Mandarin Dress Set, which is part of the Revival DLC series and was initially created for DOA5. Included with Season Pass 4, the Set brings 17 costumes, one each for Rachel, Hitomi, Ayane, Mila, Tina, Kasumi, Helena, Kokoro, Leifang, La Mariposa, Christie, Hitomi, Marie Rose, Nyotengu, Honoka, NiCO, Phase 4, and Momiji. The Set costs $19.99, but you can buy each costume separately too. 

Dead or Alive 6 is currently available for $23.99, or $31.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition, as part of the PlayStation Critics' Choice Sale. Season Pass 1 is also on sale for $69 until February 19, 2020. Although Season Pass 2-4 did not receive any discounts, it's still a great time to get into Dead or Alive 6 if you don't already own it. DLC characters can be purchased separately as well, so there's no need to buy the Season Passes if you aren't interested in the plethora of cosmetics.
