Days Gone will release tomorrow. So, there appeared a post regarding additional content for the game on the PlayStation blog. At the beginning of June comes the first free add-on, including a fairly large content update.
An additional "Survival" difficulty level will be added, which is made moderately for re-completing the storyline. It will disable the ability to fast travel around the world map and the skill that highlights useful items and opponents around (as in Assassin's Creed or Hitman). The interface will lack the mini-map and auxiliary marks for greater immersion.
At the same time, there will come a system of weekly trials in three categories: driving, combat and horde challenges. In the near future, these tasks will be described in more detail, but it's nice to see that all this content users will get for free.
Days Gone on sale April 26 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
