Cyberpunk RTS Re-Legion is out this week

Cyberpunk setting is on the rise right now with plenty of developers paying a tribute to it by announcing and releasing new projects. The most prominent and famous one is obviously Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt RED, but while we are waiting for the first news on the game's release window to show up there's a cyberpunk RTS coming this week. The game in question is called Re-Legion and it's out on January 31.

In Re-Legion, you act as a prophet in a futuristic cyberpunk world where religion plays a huge role. The main idea is to convert citizens into your doctrine so that later they can be trained into soldiers. Once you have a powerful military force you can unleash it to destroy the non-believers - all those who do not share your religion. That's a great way to wipe out heresy, and the concept behind the game would be a perfect fit for the unforgiving Warhammer 40.000 universe.

Re-Legion doesn't look as good as it sounds mainly due to the outdated graphics, but the classic RTS gameplay formula is still spot on with a few new mechanics. The game releases first with singleplayer component whereas multiplayer will follow up at a later date. Re-Legion was developed for PC only, and you can already examine the game's page on Steam.
