Cyberpunk 2077 install size could be over 80GB

As video games continue to wow us with their ingenuity, so also do their sizes grow. Red Dead Redemption 2 was a technical marvel from 2018 with an install size of 107GB on Xbox and 99GB on PS4. Half-way down the Cyberpunk 2077 page, Playstation Store currently lists its size to be a minimum of 80GB. 

If we consider the fact that the game isn't finished yet, it's clear that this figure is simply a placeholder. That would mean the final game could be above or below this size. There's also no assurance that Cyberpunk 2077’s size will be the same on all platforms, just like Red Dead Redemption 2 isn't. Factor in the need for Playstation 4 to have additional space to install games and we could be looking at a lot of space indeed. 

This information will definitely influence the decision gamers make about the format in which they buy the game. Whether you decide to go digital or physical, also remember that Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting DLC in the future. Looks like it's time to clear that games backlog so we have enough space next year for our adventures in Night City.
