Finally! It’s here and it’s true. Valve released a brand new user interface for its popular FPS – Counter Strike: Global Offensive. It bears a simple name – Panorama UI and is available on beta version only. Of course, Valve would love you to test it out. This is the second game by Valve that got a refreshed UI - Dota 2, as an elder brother, was the first. The style looks really similar.
Devs shared the screenshots on Twitter:

According to Valve, Panorama UI is “is the most substantial change to the look and feel of CS:GO since the game was released in 2012. From the Main Menu to the Scoreboard, the entire experience of interacting with the game has been updated”.
I’ve gotta say, new UI looks freaking awesome. Here’s what got struck by redesign forces: main menu, store, inventory, game mode selection, game settings, case opening screen and so on. Now we can check out any item and see it fully, unlike before – in a tiny screen. On top of that, you can pick any CT/T model and see how specific item looks on it. Pretty cool, huh?
The patch notes also mention that Panorama UI is currently available in “Practice with bots” mode exclusively. Although, your friend or other player can connect to the practice, so you can try that option out. Don’t forget to leave your feedback about new UI and report bugs, if you find any – Valve’s here and listens

Here's a video btw, if that's more up your valley:
If you want to check Panorama UI out, you need to opt into Beta depots:
- Open the Steam client and navigate to your LIBRARY.
- Right click on CS:GO and select 'Properties'.
- Click on the BETAS tab.
- Select the beta you would like to opt into through the drop down box.
- You will be prompted to restart your client. After restarting, launch CS:GO to play the game with its Beta changes.
Right now there’s no information about the release date of Panorama UI. Considering previous cases, Valve releases new stuff a week after it hits the beta version so we can only wait.
What are your thoughts on new UI?
