CS:GO: Hiko became a free agent

His contract with the team ended

29-year-old CS:GO player Spencer "Hiko" Martin announced that his contract with the Rogue organization has ended. The athlete said in his Twitter that he is a free agent from now on and searching for reasonable offers and a new team. He's also open to business opportunities and ready to consider various options.

Spencer is mostly known for his lurking, solo site play, and clutching ability. He is the only player from the former Rogue squad who was left without a team: Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen and Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen returned to Denmark to play for OpTic. Daniel "vice" Kim and Hunter "SicK" Mims were recruited to Cloud9 and compLexity respectively.

Hiko made a significant impact on his team during the contract. Rogue made their way to the FaceIT Major along with him, as well as to the final DreamHack Open Austin 2018.

The news that Rogue split up was a shock for many fans. The team showed good progress on the world stage, selecting the StarSeries i-League season 7, as well as the ECS 7 finals. The team's license for the ESL Pro League passed to the Luminocity team.
