Complexity will be replacing MAD Lions in the Europe Minor Closed Qualifier "due to being unable to field a suitable roster." This circumstance comes after in-game leader Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen was benched on the Danish squad.
Complexity's newfound spot in the Europe Minor Closed Qualifier for their chance at making it into the Europe Minor comes in a very unconventional manner. Complexity tried their hand at qualifying for ESL One Rio 2020 three times but fell short in every instance, two of which were in semi-finals to SMASH and BIG.

The ESL One Rio 2020 Europe Closed Qualifier will run from March 7 - 8 and will see 16 teams fight over eight spots in the Europe Minor. The Europe Minor will be a LAN event held in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, on April 26 - May 2. Eight teams will fight in the Minor for two spots at the ESL One Rio 2020 Major.
