Following Complexity Gaming's roster change, the team has become ineligible to compete in the ESL Pro League Season 10 Americas second stage. As a result, ESL has selected Team Singularity to take their place.
Complexity forfeited the ESL Pro League second stage when it decided to add Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke and Valentin "poizon" Vasilev to its roster. Both pros have already played for OpTic Gaming and Windigo Gaming respectively, automatically making Complexity ineligible to compete.
ESL initially contacted Cloud9, who finished in fourth place in Group B but were turned down. Their reasons for not returning to the tournament could be in relation to their withdrawal from DreamHack Open Atlanta.
So they called on Singularity as the best-placed NA team eligible to compete in the second stage. They join ATK, Envy, and DETONA in their group, which is set to play from November 13-15.
With this second chance to compete in Pro League S10, it would turn the tournament on its head if they manage to make it through to the finals.
