North American esports organization, Complexity Gaming has finally completed its CS:GO roster with the signing of Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke and Valentin “poizon” Vasilev. These signings make the team composition mostly European.
k0nfig has been teamless since October 11 when OpTic’s CS:GO roster decided to bench themselves and seek other opportunities. Back in 2017, when he still played for North, k0nfig was featured in HLTV’s top 20 players but has since lost his form. poizon was the only player Windigo had under contract when the organization decided to disband its CS:GO, team, due to some financial issues it was facing.
The new signings replace Rory “dephh” Jackson and Shahzeeb “ShahZaM” Khan, who left the team in October. Still under contract with Complexity, ShahZam’s future in the organization will be announced soon. Complexity also signed Benjamin “blameF” Bremer from Heroic and William “RUSH” Wierzba from Cloud9 in September.
After the team’s poor performance at StarLadder Berlin Major, CEO Jason Lake decided to overhaul the roster. However, due to the presence of two players in the new lineup, Complexity is ineligible to compete in this season’s ESL Pro League. That is because they already competed for other teams during the season.
