Complexity Gaming CEO and founder, Jason Lake showed his displeasure at the CS:GO team's recent performance during the StarLadder Berlin Major. So much that he also made an open offer to tier one players for a slot on the roster.
Complexity was eliminated from the tournament after losing 2-0 to Grayhound with a disappointing 1-3 record. Being defeated by AVANGAR and HellRaisers as well, their only win was against the team that failed to win a single map at the tournament, TYLOO.
He made his announcement in a tweet which was met with criticism by some. Lake eventually had to explain that the matter had already been discussed with the team. He also seems to be very serious about the roster change, offering to pay not just player buyout but also the world's highest salary.
It remains to be seen if Lake will actually put his money where his mouth is or how many new players will be signed. Considering the team already has a lot of good talent on the bench like Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey and Marcelo “coldzera” David, any new replacements will probably have to be the best of the best. There's really no telling who will get cut and who won't.
