Civilization 6: Gathering Storm has just added a new faction to the game - Sweden - which comes with a unique ability. You might've already guessed which one exactly as we've already featured it in the title. We are talking, of course, about the Nobel Prize, and once Sweden is present in a game the rest of civilizations are free to engage in a scientific competition divided into three categories. With the ultimate goal to win the Nobel Prize.
Sweden is a strong contender when it comes to cultural or diplomatic victories, and it's the nation of choice when you decide to win the game in a nonaggressive way. Still, the faction has its own unique military units which come in the form of special anti-cavalry infantry troops. Another unique trait of Sweden is the ability to build open-air museums which grant an increase in loyalty, culture and tourism. Sweden gets in the most advantageous position once you've built cities and open-air museums on all types of terrain.
The leader of Sweden - Queen Christina - has a unique ability to build the Queen's Bibliotheque, thus receiving additional slots for Great works. Overall, Sweden is best described by being able to benefit most from science and culture. You'll be able to find out whether the faction suits your playstyle in a month - Civilization 6: Gathering Storm releases on February 14.
