Columbus Major Quarterfinal 4 delayed to Day 2

The fourth quarterfinal of the MLG Major Championship Columbus will be played on April 2, the second day of the event, instead of April 1.

In a Reddit post, Adam Apicella, Activision Blizzard's senior director of events, said that in order to avoid a potential 15-hour day on April 1, the event organizers decided to delay the fourth quarterfinal match by a day.

This change will lead to an earlier end-time on April 1 (8:30 PM EST), but an earlier start the next day, with the last quarterfinals match starting at 10 AM EST. The other three quarterfinals matches will still take place on April 1.

After the quarterfinals on April 2, the tournament will immediately move into semifinals before wrapping up with the grand finals on April 3.

The Columbus Major will run from March 29 - April 3 in Columbus, Ohio.
