After disbanding its all Korean Fortnite team a while back, Cloud9 returns with a new roster and renewed confidence in the game's competitive scene.

The team recently announced its signing of Igor “Drakonz” Fernandes, Patrick “BlackoutZ” Garcia Da Silva, Nicollas “Nicks” Polonio de Oliveira and Skylar “snow” Babinski. snow is an American player while the others are all Brazilian, with BlackoutZ and Drakonz already used to competing together. They all join team manager, Lucas Braga and general manager, Gaylen Malone, who also happen to hail from Brazil and the USA respectively.

BlackoutZ and Drakonz have produced good results playing together in the past, but at this year's World Cup final, Drakonz will play solo. Snow is an accomplished player that qualified for Fortnite World Cup in week 1,while Nicks is presently the only Fortnite player from Brazil to qualify for both the singles and duo categories of the World Cup.

With such a strong team of accomplished players, it's hard to expect anything less than a strong showing.
