Cloud9 have announced Tyson "TenZ" Ngo's departure from the active roster and the addition of Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik on trial.

According to their Twitter announcement, TenZ's playstyle is a bad fit for the current lineup, while Subroza was picked for his experience in the game and great personality.

In early July, Cloud9 made significant changes to its roster, adding four new players and a coach. They were Damian "daps" Steele, Óscar "mixwell" Cañellas, Kenneth "koosta" Suen, TenZ and James "JamezIRL" Macaulay the current coach. They joined the only remaining player from the previous roster, Timothy "autimatic" Ta.

Unable to produce any real results, Soham "valens" Chowdhury moved to an analyst role while JamezIRL became the head coach. The removal of TenZ and addition of Subroza are just more attempts at the team fixing its deficiencies. valens also left the team a few days ago.
