Closed beta of The Walking Dead by Overkill arrives in October

Developers from the Overkill Software studio announced the date when of closed beta testing for Overkill’s The Walking Dead. Prepare your bats and rifles – the testing begins on October 9. Those who preordered a PC version of the cooperative shooter will be able to participate in closed testing stage. 

News about the upcoming testing came from a developer live stream where game producer also promised to share some details about the project as the beta comes closer. 

Besides that, during livestream devs showed some gameplay of the shooter where enemies tried to invade a base. While on stream, they completed a mission in stealth mode and discussed some of the key game mechanics. 

Release of Overkill's The Walking Dead PC version is planned for November 6. Console version should be out in February of 2019.
