CIS caster: I'm sorry for accusing OG ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Sergey "Smile" Revin commented on OG's victory at The International 2019 on his personal stream today. He said that the European team cheated and used doping stimulants, which gave them advantage over the opponent. At The International 2019, Sergey acted as an analyst and commentator for the Russian-speaking broadcast. In 2012, he played for Natus Vincere and took second place at The International.

At the moment, the stream record has been deleted from Sergey's channel. The situation instantly turned into a scandal, which has already affected the English-speaking audience. So, Reddit users started a thread with these statements also discussing rumours about the use of doping by esports pro players.

Some respectful persons have also responded to these resonant statements. For example, PimpmuckL — famous observer and MoonDuckTV producer — had his word:

But in some time, after the esports scene reacted and Sergey's words have been heard by every person alive, Smile decided to apologize to the players and the community.

"I apologize to OG and the esports community. My words were extremely unsuccessful, centring the unreliable rumours about medicines and commenting on their game in a similar manner. OG are the true champions, they prove it for the second year in a row!", he wrote on his Twitter account.

We all have bad days, haven't we, Sergey?
