CIS and Nordic LAN qualifiers announced for BLAST Spring Series Showdown

The CIS and Nordic regions will host separate LAN qualifiers for the BLAST Spring Series Showdown.

Winstrike will be running the "CIS Cup" that will take place on May 28 - 31. The CIS Cup will host teams that make it to the LAN qualifier through various tournaments during April and May. Only one team will qualify for the BLAST Premier Spring Series Showdown from the CIS Cup.

On the Nordic side, Elisa will be handling the "Elisa Invitational." This LAN qualifier will take place on May 1 - 3 in Tampere, Finland. Two teams from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland will represent the eight teams in the Elisa Invitational. These eight teams will be competing for one spot at the BLAST Premier Spring Series Showdown.

A number of teams have already been decided for the BLAST Premier Spring Series Showdown through the BLAST Premier Spring Series that took place in February. Here are the current teams and how these qualifiers will fit into the mold:

The BLAST Premier Spring Series Showdown will take place on June 2 - 7.
