Chaos EC recently participated in the first season of FLASHPOINT, where they exited in 7-8th place. They have also been participating in ESEA MDL Season 34 North America. With a new addition in Jonathan "Jonji" Carey after the departure of Nathan "leaf" Orf, Chaos will need to get some reps in as a new team in order to put up a fight against the best NA teams.
Here are the groups for DreamHack Masters Spring North America:
Group A
- FURIA
- Liquid
- MIBR
- Chaos
Group B
- 100 Thieves
- Cloud9
- Evil Geniuses
- Gen.G
DreamHack Masters Spring North America will take place on May 19 - June 14, starting with a round-robin group stage with best-of-three matches. After each team plays three matches in the group stage, the top two squads from each group will advance to a playoff bracket. The path from groups to the playoff bracket won't be an easy one for Chaos, due to having the best teams from North America in their pool. Chaos's opening match will be against Liquid on May 19, followed by MIBR on May 22, and FURIA on May 24.
