Chaos Esports Club has announced the signing of Triumph's Logan "Voltage" Long as a full-time player for the team and permanent replacement for Owen "smooya" Butterfield.
Voltage first joined the team in March as a stand-in for smooya after the latter was benched while he sorted out issues with his ESTA. Playing during Flashpoint Season 1 Phase 1 and their less-than-stellar Phase 2, Voltage still helped the team secure a spot in the Playoffs with 65 points. Reunited with former Triumph coach Matthew "mCe" Elmore, Voltage's performance during this brief period has made him worthy of a permanent spot on the team.
We are happy to announce that we have come to an agreement with @TriumphGamingGG and @onevoltage will be officially joining our CS:GO roster full time.

Upon his return to the UK, smooya's interview with the US embassy kept getting postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak. The delays in his return eventually led to his release from the organization and a lucky break for Voltage.
