North American esports organization Chaos Esports Club has signed the orgless team, Quincy Crew. Chaos EC states that this is the first of many massive updates to come.

Chaos EC makes a return with this signing after dropping its Dota 2 roster at the tail end of October. Besides supporting the team in its attempt to win this season's DPC, the organization will also put some focus on engaging content creation.

Chaos EC general manager, Jared Fletcher shared this in a statement:

"Coming into the 2019-2020 DPC season, we wanted to field a North American roster, and Quincy Crew came as a natural fit. They share a passion for winning and constant learning that is necessary to becoming a world champion team, and it is my belief that we can work alongside them to build an enduring Dota 2 program."

Following the departure of Syed "SumaiL" Hassan after the DOTA Summit Minor qualifiers, the team signed Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek on loan from Team Singularity. He and the Quincy Crew's coach, Ilya "IllidanSTR" Pivtsaev will remain with the team on trial.

The new Chaos EC lineup consists of:

  • Yawar "Yawar" Hassan

  • Quinn "Quinn" Callahan

  • Arif "MSS" Anwar

  • Avery "SVG" Silverman

  • Jack "KBBQ" Chen - Manager

  • Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek - trial

  • Ilya "IllidanSTR" Pivtsaev - trial coach

With the roster now set and a strong organization backing them, the ex-Quincy Crew lineup will debut at DOTA Summit 11. Their progress there will set the pace for their DPC 2019-2020 season aspirations.
