The big event in fighting games world called Celtic Throwdown 2019 was held from August 31 to September 1. The most interesting and popular games were presented in Blanchardstown (Dublin, Ireland). More than 400 participants fought for the champion title.  

We're here to announce you the winners of the tournaments.

Mortal Kombat 11

Professional MK11 player Curtis "Rewind" McCall took 1st place, beating Dominique "SonixFox" McLean in a tight fight in Grand Final with the 3:2 score. He became the strongest among 103 participants. 

Dragon Ball Fighterz

Goichi "GO1" Kishida, a fighting game player for CYCLOPS athlete gaming team, became the 1st among 90 participants. He has a 100% win rate.

Smash Ultimate

Daragh "Snook" O'Brien is the winner, and he was the strongest among 50 participants.


And here we have Goichi "GO1" Kishida as the winner, again. He proved his skill twice.

SoulCalibur VI

Marie-Laure "KAYANE" Norindr is the only one female player who won during CT2019, beating Benoît "ganondeurf" T. in Grand Final with the 3:1 score. By the way, she's not only an esports player but journalist, too. Congratulations to our French colleague!

Samurai Showdown

Ryota "Kazunoko" Inoue is the winner among 35 participants not only in this game but in the Guilty Gear Xrd R2 game among 21 participants. Also, FYI, he became the Dragon Ball FighterZ world champion this year by winning the first Red Bull Final Summoning

Ultra Street Fighter 4

stormKUBO from TEAM iXA took 1st place among 31 participants.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

Vineeth "ApologyMan" Meka beat Kenneth "K-Brad" Bradley in Grand Final with the 3:1 score.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle 

Kevin "DBlanks" Hoang took 1st place among 15 participants.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 1v1 Swap

Thomas "BlueHairKei" Blandford had no defeats and took 1st place among 15 players.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition 

Masato "Bonchan" Takahashi won 7 times and got 1st well-deserved place!


Nuno "Chickenmaru" Barbosa from the RIZE Gaming Pro team had great rivalry between 105 participants (!) but was able to get a 100% win rate with 7 victories and became the 1st.  

Dead or Alive 6

BuíochasleDia had no defeats in this discipline and got the 1st place!

Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike

Mohammed "Rudi" A. took 1st place among 13 participants.

Puyo Puyo Champions

The mysterious IID became the winner among 11 participants.
