North American player, Quinn "CCnC" Callahan was rushed to the hospital following sudden health issues. After four days away, he has now returned to Quincy Crew.
As a result of his absence, Quincy Crew was forced to forfeit their ESL Hamburg match against Ninjas in Pyjamas due to being one man down. Syed Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan was later brought in as a stand-in for the rest of the tournament. The team defeated Team Liquid in their last match but drew against Gambit Esports and Wind and Rain, while losing to TNC Predator.
The team's manager, Jack "KBBQ" Chen, announced it on Twitter. He also mentioned that Ilya "Illidan" Pivcaev has now joined the organisation as the new coach. He joins them from Old but Gold and this marks the player's debut filling the role.
With CCnC back, Quincy Crew set's their sights on DOTA Summit 11, their first DPC event of the 2019-2020 season. The Minor will take place at Los Angeles with eight teams fighting for the $300,000 prize pool and the final spot at MDL Chengdu Major.
