Capcom has revealed Chun-Li inspired sneakers

Capcom has announced a collaboration with the famed Japanese company Onitsuka Tiger to bring to life the vision of Chun-Li inspired sneakers. It is mostly a colour-based vision since in terms of design the sneakers in question utilize the iconic look of Mexico 66 SD.

There’re two variations of Chun-Li sneakers available – the first one has a white base with blue and yellow elements while the second type is mostly yellow with a few blue spots. It wouldn’t be a game-themed product though if it wasn’t directly connected to the Street Fighter series – each pair comes with a digital code so that you can use your real-life sneakers as a set of cosmetics for in-game Chun-Li. It’s not just the shoes – Chun-Li gets the whole themed outfit.

All you need now is to be a muscular and well-fit girl with thick thighs and a degree in martial arts – so that you can wear the new sneakers as gloriously as Chun-Li does it. Jokes aside, there’s a real downside to the whole situation as the Chun-Li inspired sneakers come within a limited offer. There’re only 5,000 pairs to be sold around the whole world, and one of them can become yours for $161.

It’s not that much for a pair of sneakers straight from one of the most experienced shoe manufacturers of Japan. Even if you don’t consider yourself a fan of Street Fighter, you have to admit that the chosen colour palette looks brilliant.
