Our Capcom Cup 2019 champion, Derek “iDom” Ruffin, has joined the list of top Street Fighter V players to drop a tier list of his own for the newly released Season 5.

iDom’s S-tier has an interesting mix of characters from different archetypes filling it. We’ve got pressure characters, footsies and more. Everyone’s top two, M.Bison and Rashid, are present here alongside Zeku, Abigail and G. A-tier have the most characters in it, though, with 20 fighters that include Poison, Cammy, Ken, Laura, and Guile. F.A.N.G. sits in B-tier with Nash, Cody, Birdy, and Vega, while C-tier contains Alex, Dhalsim, Falke, and E.Honda.

His S -tier is mostly consistent with Masato "Bonchan" Takahashi, Keita "Fuudo" Ai, and Naoki "moke" Nakayama’s shared list. iDom’s B and C-tiers combine to form the trio’s C-tier, too, showing a lot of overlap. Yet, it differs from theirs with a couple of characters. Like the presence of Poison and Ed in C-tier, which is their lowest. Also of note is Gill’s absence from the tier list.

A level of consistency is beginning to emerge as more pros release their tier lists for the new season. The introduction of V-Skill 2 to the game has really shaken things up, with the only two characters that haven’t seen any drastic change in their tier being M.Bison and Rashid. There’s no telling how things will shape up once Capcom Pro Tour 2020 begins in March, but we’re definitely in for some exciting mixups and playstyles.
